Creative Momentum Project
Six organisations from five regions have come together to support the development of the creative sector across Europe’s Northern Edge through a creative momentum project. It is a 3-year (2015-2018), €2m transnational project co-funded by the EU’s Northern Periphery & Arctic (NPA) Programme.
It supports start-ups, micro-enterprises, SMEs, self-employed, social enterprises and recent graduates working, or wanting to work, in the creative industries sector which includes Design, Crafts, Arts, and Media & Technology. See www.MyCreativeEdge.eu for more.
This Creative Exchange event focused on using online data to grow your creative enterprise and was run by the Western Development Commission (WDC) under a creative momentum project.
Kevin Neary, CEO, Connectors Marketplace spoke about the need for start-ups and social enterprises to use data and insights and engage with the modern buyer: – “Its no longer feasible for sales people to make intrusive cold calls or send email blasts. The world has changed and the center of power has shifted from sellers to buyers. Sales people must use real-time data to identify the right buyers at the right time. Today’s smart sales people leverage data to educate, influence and help buyers”
